• DO NOT place bags over the head—risk of suffocation.
• Keep plastic bags away from babies, young children, and pets.
⚠ Age Restriction
• Suitable for ages 3+ only.
• Children should be supervised when using the scoop.
⚠ Hygiene & Dog Waste Safety
• Dog waste carries bacteria and parasites that can cause severe illness.
• Wash hands thoroughly after use and avoid touching the scoop’s waste area.
• Store HandiScoop out of reach of children when not in use.
• HandiScoop is designed to collect dog waste to within the plastic bags; this also keeps the scoop parts clean.
• HandiScoop can be preloaded with up to 3 plastic bags, so if one bag breaks, the waste is contained within the remaining bag(s).
• In case of HandiScoop jaws contamination please follow the washing procedure.
Cleaning Instructions
To maintain hygiene, HandiScoop should be cleaned regularly:
1. Keeping Jaws Clean:
• Always keep the bags on the jaws during use to prevent contamination.
• This ensures the scoop itself remains clean and hygienic at all times.
2. Washing & Wiping Down:
• The HandiScoop can be wiped down weekly with soapy water or a mild detergent.
• This helps remove dust, dirt, or any surface residue and bacterial growth.
• If needed, a deeper clean can be done by carefully washing it with detergent, but avoid soaking the scoop to protect the internal cable mechanism.
How to Use Your HandiScoop
1. Loading the HandiScoop (Three-Bag System)
1. Hold the head of the HandiScoop upright in the air with the jaws open.
2. For better grip, place the HandiScoop shaft between your knees while keeping the head up in the air and jaws open.
3. Slide the first bag over the jaws so that it fully covers the scoop’s head.
4. Using your thumb and forefinger, to hold the bag tags on the shaft , gently rotate the scoop clockwise by turning the handle.
• This will neatly wrap the bag’s tags around the shaft of the scoop.
5. Once the bag is wrapped securely, ease up the first elastic band and stretch it over the bag tags to hold the bag in place.
6. Create a gusset in the bag by:
• Holding the scoop in your left hand.
• Easing up the band and wrapped handles.
• Placing your fist inside the scoop’s jaws to expand the bag.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for the second and third bags.
8. Your scoop is now fully loaded and ready for action, with the jaws remaining 100% clean at all times due to the protective bag layers.
Multi-Pick Action – How It Works
1. First Pick-Up:
• Position the scoop over the first poop with the jaws open (default mode).
• Press down gently onto the ground or grass.
• Pull the trigger to close the jaws, neatly capturing the waste inside the bag.
2. Second Pick-Up (and beyond):
• While holding the trigger closed, move to the second poop.
• Position the scoop about 1 cm above the second poop.
• Release the trigger—this gently drops the first poop on top of the second poop.
• Press down gently and pull the trigger again—both poops are now inside the bag.
• Repeat for up to three to five poops (depending on size).
3. Locking the Scoop:
• To secure the waste, either:
• Hold the trigger closed manually, OR
• Use the elastic band to hold the trigger in lock mode.
